2. Create a Musical Environment at Home: Immerse your child in music by creating a musical environment at home. Play a variety of music genres and styles, and go see music being performed at local venues, whether it be a musical, a band, a symphony, or a acoustic set! This exposure will help spark their curiosity and appreciation for music.

3. Support Their Practice Routine: Practice makes perfect! Establishing a regular practice routine is essential for progress in music. Help your child set aside dedicated time for practice each day. One way to encourage students to practice is by keeping instruments in easily accessible parts of your home. Where do your kids spend the most time? Living room?-Keep the guitar in the living room. Bedroom?-Keep the piano in their room. Make a little area where they can practice their instrument in the places they spend the most time. Encourage consistency and keep the instrument accessible.

Take an interest in their progress, ask them about their goals and challenges, and communicate with their music teacher to ensure they are receiving the support they need. If you have questions about their progress or homework, always talk to the teacher! Advocate for your child's success!
