Biography
Sarah Eitel brings both technical excellence and a passion for sharing her vast musical knowledge with other at
Keen School of Music.
A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Sarah earned her Bachelor of Music in Industry and Jazz Guitar Studies with a minor in English in May 2025. Her formal training includes jazz guitar, classical guitar, piano, music theory, and jazz pedagogy, giving her a strong foundation across styles and techniques.

Sarah’s love for music spans a wide range of genres including jazz, blues, rock, country, classical, and metal. She teaches fingerpicking patterns, improvisation techniques, foundational chords, and advanced concepts in a way that helps students understand not just what to play, but why it works. Her background in jazz studies fuels her passion for creativity, musical expression, and building confidence on the instrument.

Alongside her collegiate training, Sarah actively teaches throughout the Nashville area. She leads an after-school Guitar Club for 4th and 5th graders, teaches piano and guitar lessons for young beginners, and works with students of all ages at various music studios, preparing them for recitals and performances. Her experience with both group instruction and private lessons allows her to adapt her teaching style to meet each student’s unique learning needs.

At Keen School of Music, Sarah teaches guitar, piano, bass, ukulele, and songwriting to students of all ages, from beginner to advanced.
She is passionate about creating a safe and encouraging space where students feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and building confidence. Her goal is to foster strong musicianship and a lifelong enthusiasm for music.
